Showing off.

Some things can’t happen on a screen.

Every project starts the same way: we see an industry stuck in its own habits and ask what would happen if the experience was rebuilt from scratch. Not a better version of what existed, but something new entirely. Curation, vibe, strategic partnerships, and the sweet spot between making people feel good and fueling business is where we thrive.

Is your industry next?

Afternoon Light: the new design fair for New York:

Our (now on pause) e-comm site for home decor and furniture led us out into the market and we knew immediately after a walk through the convention center and a few showroom parties…that something was missing. A curated, can’t-miss anchor to capture the excitement and power of New York Design Week was in our hearts and on our minds, so we built one. Debuted May 2025.

Capsule: our first baby.

Called “the most influential show” for apparel by Fast Company. New York, Paris, Las Vegas, Berlin. Men’s and Women’s. If you know, you know. Established 2006, acquired in 2014.

Shoppe Object: tackling a bloated gift market.

In 2018 we applied our formula for curation and experience to the gift market, upending the existing show landscape. Now a robust biannual show in New York with more than 750 participating exhibitors, we proved that fashion wasn’t the only industry ripe for disruption. When the pandemic hit we pivoted quickly and developed a backend platform to facilitate business and engage brands and buyers year round. Acquired in 2022.

Popsugar Play/Ground: a concept with legs.

When tasked with developing an experiential concept for the media lifestyle platform Reed Exhibitions and Popsugar, we envisioned a totally new kind of consumer facing, ticketed event to connect women IRL. Play/Ground garnered 2.2 billion media impressions ($17 million media value) and more 18M social impressions in 2019, and established a diversified revenue channel for the brand. Added value indeed.
